LYNX EXPRESSION ~ What Makes a Man? Attraction & Masculinity in 2016.

Last week, we transformed Redfern’s Giant Dwarf Theatre for an event hosted by LYNX in partnership with I-Manifest. Inspired by the LYNX's campaign artwork, we had a monochrome colour palette with hints of matt gold. The space was lit dimly by candlelight made from an array of cream pillar candles, sitting on top of matt black concrete plates and bricks. We used clusters of sandy, feathery pampas grass and burgundy foliage to juxtapose against the masculine, raw interiors of Giant Dwarf Theatre. The Panel, Chaired by Chris Taylor (the Chaser) and featuring Joel Creasy, Peter Fitzsimons, Tim Blackwell, Kate Peck and I-Manifest Founder Jo Pretyman, explored what it means to be a man in today’s world. Whole ticket price was donated to I-Manifest, an organisation dedicated to empowering young people find their magic through creativity and individuality.
