Chinese New Year 2017 was the Year of the Rooster and to celebrate Sydney Tower Eye partnered with ONE Tea Lounge to create a pop-up restaurant for visitors to enjoy bao burgers and matcha shots 250m (820ft) above ground level.
Located at Sydney's tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere (following Auckland's Sky Tower), we transformed the space using an assortment of lanterns in gold, red and white. The feature was a photo arch where visitors could take pics with the Sydney skyline in the background as well as a market stall selling freshly made burgers and matcha green tea dessert shots.
