This was an event to celebrate the new partnership between Continental Australia and Ripe Near Me, all about finding fresh, home-grown ingredients in your local area and cooking up a storm.
Hosted in 107 Project's sustainable Rooftop Garden (a buzzing wonderland of greenery, fish, worms and bees), long wooden Timbermill tables were dressed to suit the mood and aesthetic of the event, inspired by the garden to plate philosophy.
The table was earthy, eco-chic with structured foliage and fresh produce on recycled timber slates to create height.
Each place setting had a raw linen napkin in pebble beige that sat beneath each plate with vintage green glassware to bring colour to the table. Guests were welcomed to the table with a cluster of fresh herbs (picked straight from the 107 Project's garden) and wrapped in twine. The names were written on seeded paper with a matching menu for guests to take home and plant post- event.
Overall the mood and aesthetic was rustic with earthy tones, natural sun light and a garden feel.
