Dove c’e Barilla, dove c’e casa. Where there is Barilla, there is home.

An event to celebrate 140 years of Barilla. The event styling was inspired by the island of Capri as well as Barilla’s rich history and heritage.

'Casa Barilla' was held at La Porte Space, a beautiful blank canvas with polished concrete floors, white walls & open windows.

Guests were served canapés and an antipasti grazing station in the courtyard before heading into the dining room for a sit down pasta dinner. The menu was created by Cook & Waiter alongside Barilla chefs to fit the Italian theme. For something sweet, custom made gelato (with Barilla biscuits) was served from a mini cart – taking guests from Sydney to Italy.

For impact, the dining room was styled in a way for guests to dine and share stories. Long timber dining tables with mahogany bentwood chairs were placed down the room with a living runner of camellia, olive and eucalyptus branches and fresh lemons imported from Italy woven through.

The space and tabletops were scattered with open flamed candles in crystal holders to create warmth and ambience. Each place setting had a crisp white linen napkin tied with a knot with matching silverware and glassware.

Overall the mood and aesthetic will be classic and chic.
