VISIT SEATTLE.

An event to highlight the city of Seattle, Washington. The styling for this event was inspired by Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market – a rustic feel with bold and vibrant colours.

Using the existing long tables at The Circle, Bennelong, each place setting had a menu printed on beautiful stock with place cards written is cursive writing with green font. For a rustic look, twine with a sprig of pink geraldine wax wrapped around the menus.

Florals for the space were bright and bold in pink, orange, yellow, purple, red colour tones including peonies, scabiosas, roses, carnations and more. Small floating arrangements were placed down the middle of the table with battery tealight candles in mercury glass votives to add ambience. These bold and colourful arrangements added vibrancy to the space, contrasting against the wood and concrete that surrounded the restaurant.

Wooden crates, boxes and boards were used to display fresh produce and florals, showcasing elements of the Pike Place Markets.

Each guest was gifted a bunches of fresh seasonal florals to take home. Each bunch was wrapped in newspaper and displayed in baskets to link back to the market feel.

Overall the mood and aesthetic was colourful with a rustic feel.
